There is power in speaking the written word of God. I am talking about confessing biblical declarations. The word of God says in Job 22:28a (NIV) What you decide on will be done. It really is true that you can have what you say and not just say what you have.
The Lord has already made it plain to the world in Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Your part is to get in agreement with these good plans from the Lord. Your voice and Your words are KEY instruments in walking out the good plans of God for your life. It says in the book of Joshua that you should mediate on the Book of the Law day and night. Every day and on every possible occasion you should in faith be speaking the promises of God.
There are three important things you need to remember when you confess your biblical declarations.
1. You need to know that as a born again believer you are right with God. You must know that God is for you and He wants to bless you.
2. You need to know the certain promises God has made concerning specific areas of your life. You must read the bible to know, believe and confess what it says about your healing, your health, finances and relationships among other things.
3. Finally you must know that faith comes by hearing and hearing from the word of God. The more you hear yourself hear biblical declaration the more your faith will be activated and it will grow.
We can’t out dream or over wish what the Lord has already destined for us. The misery and disdain you have for your life right now is because you know that you were created for something bigger and better than what you have now. No matter how bleak things may look in the natural we in the body of Christ have to realize and confess how good and powerful God is and declare that you are going into something better than what you have now.
I will leave with you a few bible declarations to speak over yourself and your life. There is no requirement for dosage, use as needed.
Psalm 31:21 Praise the LORD, for he has shown me the wonders of his unfailing love.
Psalm 136:1 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good. His love endures forever.
Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:37 No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
